Thesis II: Week 4 & 5
The last two weeks I’ve focused on creating a prototype to display the daily exercise experience, the backbone of my concept and user testing it with teens. For this first prototype, I kept it very simple and created frames to support a specific scenario.
User Testing
For this round of testing, I recruited 3 participants, all within my target audience.
General Feedback
- Understands the psychology and believes it works
- Drawn to the calendar & mood tracking
- Like the physical aspect, detachment from phone
- Mostly use it as a ‘make me feel good’ app
Areas of Improvement
- Only one would it use it on a daily basis
- Need more to be comfortable sharing (example or start slow)
- End of session feels incomplete (add reflection or progress)
Next Steps
- Iterate on post-checkin experience
- Strategize balance user goals vs designer goals
- Design progress and mood tracking
